Conversion to Judaism
Created originally by Dr. Lawrence J. Epstein, this site provides a variety of information of interest to potential converts including topics about the beliefs of Judaism, the conversion process, social and psychological issues involved in conversion, a list of books and videos, and access to rabbis who are willing to help converts.
Jews for Judaism
The goal of this group is to “to strengthen and preserve Jewish identity through education and counseling that counteracts deceptive proselytizing targeting Jews for conversion and promotes critical thinking.” In addition to information about the group, there is an extensive knowledge section.
National Jewish Outreach Program
Founded by Rabbi Ephraim Buchwald, this group "reaches out to unaffiliated Jews by offering them positive, joyous, Jewish educational opportunities and experiences." Its site provides information about its partners and programs, and has an extensive set of resources.
Orthodox Conversion to Judaism
Sponsored by the Orthodox Rabbinical Council of America, this site describes the geirus (conversion) procedures and standards and a recommended reading list.
Created by Rabbi Tovia Singer, Outreach Judaism is "an international organization that responds directly to the issues raised by missionaries and cults, by exploring Judaism in contradistinction to fundamentalist Christianity." This anti missionary site offers rebuttals to the claims of Jews for Jesus and missionary groups. The site also sells products created by Rabbi Singer in both English and Russian.
