MERIA: Middle East Review of International Affairs Hits:410
Description:MERIA is a project edited and directed by Professor Barry Rubin at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies. Its goal is to advance research on the Middle East and foster scholarly communication and cooperation. The site provides access to MERIA Journal, a quarterly academic publication, and MERIA News, a monthly newsletter. Back issues are archived on the home page and there is a subject index to them both. Of particular note are the full text research guides on a number of Middle East topics and an extensive database of US-Middle East foreign policy dating back to 1980. In addition the site lists the current contents of journals covering the region dating back to 1998. This is an extensive and rich source of academic material about the Middle East.
