Shamash serves the full spectrum of Jewish religious, educational, cultural, communal, and social service organizations interested in utilizing new electronic technologies to share information and deliver services to the Jewish community worldwide." The site hosts numerous mailing lists and archives, a large searchable database of divrei Torah, and an extensive kosher restaurant database. There are links to online resources about the Holocaust and computers as well. You can sign up for a newsletter announcing new events in the Jewish online and offline world. The section on Judaica leads to many of the organizations who use Shamash as their server. While the age of this service is showing, it still houses many important and useful resources.
