Description:Since 1997 German artist Gunter Demnig has been creating memorials for individual victims of the Holocaust. The stolpersteine (stumbling blocks) are small, cobblestone-sized memorials for individual victims of Nazism. This map indicates the current locations of 35,000 of them. The site is in German.
