Description:AMIT "stands for "AMericans for Israel and Torah" and its goal is to "nurture and educate Israel´s children to become self-reliant and self-respecting members of society so that they will be prepared to make a valuable contribution to Israel." Its home page provides a browsable directory of the schools it operates in Israel arranged by city. You can read selected articles from its magazine, AMIT, and find out about past and current events. Of particular note is the Tanach Yomi project in which individuals and groups study a chapter of Tanach each day. You can purchase study guides for the program and register online for it.
